The US dollar's once-solid link to bond yields is now breaking down. The US 10-year yield (TNX) is approaching fresh decade highs while the dollar index (DXY) is sliding to new 52-week lows. As for the broader market, a weaker US dollar could potentially trigger the next leg higher in risk assets. Should the US dollar continue to decline, the stock market will likely become even more bullish.
